There are times on our travels when we come into contact with a spooky location, we’d dearly love to share with you – but for personal or security reasons, the owners do not wish us to release any public information.
Only thing is.. these locations, can be very intriguing..
So we’ve decided to open up the ‘Secret Hauntings’ case-files to you. You wont find any photographs, video footage or naming of the location/layout. (unless permission has been otherwise granted)
I’ll be releasing what information I can, on these case-files over the next few months..
(Please note, we have full permission to release the details below)
File #1:
A very old doctors surgery is the home to quite an active spirit. This ‘friendly spirit’ – likes to make itself heard & seen preferably in the late afternoon, to staff and doctors on the top floor.
The surgery building is a very grand old Victorian construction. Originally it looks as though it was 3 large houses – knocked through into one at some stage. But its when you go down to the cellar you’ll be in for a shock or two. The floor of the cellar is just dirt/mud – no solid floor here !. And what’s that leaning against the wall ?
It’s a headstone !, YES you heard me right – it’s a genuine ‘blank’ stone headstone. We do not know if there’s a connection between the stone, the floor and the ghost, but it really gives you a chill through your body to think that your standing on a pile of dirt. What would they find if they where to dig deep ?
The front office to the surgery is located in the front of the building, and its from here that the staff have reported hearing noises from the offices above. Such as doors slamming and strange sort-of dragging noises.
One brave assistant has on more than one occasion heard the door to one office open & close, followed by a repeat further down the corridor to another room !. It’s as though this spirit has gone from one office to another.
Could it be that we have a ghostly doctor not wanting to leave the practice ?.
Janis felt quite threatened in one of the offices, something did not want us poking about. Unfortunately due to the intense feelings Janis was picking up, she had to leave the room. A fine mist has been reported on numerous occations by staff, swirling along the corridor and around the base of the stairs - although unfortunately we did not witness this for ourselves.
But how do the staff feel about the ghostly residents ?We interviewed one of the key staff members about her feelings on the subject…
I treat it as though it’s a live, living person – I make a point of greeting it in the morning, and shouting a goodbye, when I lockup at night. There’s nothing threatening about it, just catches you unawares sometimes.
So there you have it, a ghostly doctors surgery – but what do you make of it ?..
